Corporation Google today announced a program Stadia makers, which aims to attract more independent developers to Stadia and help them port their projects to the cloud gaming platform.
As part of this program, the Stadia team offers developers up to 5 physical development kits, unspecified amounts of funding and technical support from Unity.
Instead, the creators need to fulfill some conditions. The development of the game should be conducted on the engine version Unity 2019.3 or higher, and the release of the project should take place this or next year. Exclusivity for the cloud platform is not a requirement, but Stadia must be listed on the list of launch platforms.
In addition, the Stadia team clarified that it is interested in the services of independent developers with experience.
