On the gaming YouTube channel Gamexplain a new video was published that compares the graphics and performance of the remaster The Wonderful 101 in versions for Wii U and Nintendo Switch.
The video shows how much better the game works on the Nintendo Switch hardware. In the most intense episodes, frame rate drawdowns are either not present or they are minimal. At the same time, you can see that the graphic component has not undergone significant changes. It seems that the remaster acquired support for higher resolution and received improved anti-aliasing, but the textures were not processed.
The backers of The Wonderful 101 remaster got their keys to the PC version a few days ago, and the user of the ResetERA forums with the nickname Squid Icarus is already shared with us screenshots in high resolution (3880 x 1440).
Judging by the reviews, the PC version of the remaster suffers from a number of shortcomings, including a jumping frame rate and some problems with the camera, if the resolution is set higher than 1080p. Since the release will take place only after a week, the developers have little time to fix these shortcomings.
Launch The Wonderful 101: Remastered May 19th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It is not yet planned to release a remaster for the Xbox One.
