Studio Targem games and company Gaijin entertainment announced a version update 0.11.0 entitled “Return of the Founders”For the post-apocalyptic online action Crossout. It adds a new faction with a new set of armored vehicles and weapons for them – the Founders. Also in the update is a PvP map “Ring of ashes”- the zone where the experiment with the particle accelerator burned down scientists.
According to the description, the Founders are armed with specialized equipment from the old world. Their armored vehicles are dump trucks, excavators, loaders with plasma cutters, laser drills and pneumatic guns firing armature. The most unusual detail in the Arsenal of the Founders is the Bigram running gear or, if simpler, the wheel legs borrowed from a construction mobile crane. An armored car with a Bigram in walking mode can “strafe” (go sideways without taking your sight off the enemy), and in wheel mode – quickly move around the battlefield, entering the rear or coming off the chase.
Players will receive drawings of new faction details by completing missions in the Founders Return event. A paid combat pass will allow you to quickly get to the top prizes, as well as open access to additional cosmetic items. When the “Return of the Founders” is over, the prize details will become unique – until the next similar event, they can only be bought from other users in the in-game market.
