Studio PUBG Corporation officially announced plans to release a new map for the game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. A short teaser was published on social networks, later a full trailer for the sixth season also appeared.
Gamers will find a location inspired by North Africa: mountains, desert, hills and so on. The map is called Karakin, its area will be about four square kilometers. Players will be able to rely on urban areas, highlands and underground caves.
A new random event will also be presented on a map called the Black Zone, which is a massive missile strike that turns buildings into ruins. According to the developers, they wanted to force players to leave the comfort zone.
As for the gameplay changes, a sticky C4 explosive will be added. True, it can only be used on Karakina, since only on this map will special destructible objects (ceilings and ceilings) and shooting surfaces be available. Fans may be interested in a new technique – gliders with a motor. They will appear on the Erangel and Miramar maps.
However, it must be borne in mind that the Wikendi card will be temporarily removed from the rotation, which will be replaced by Karakin. In this case, the first location will remain available in user matches.
The release date of the card has not yet been announced. However, the comments of the players are more interested in how the creators of PUBG intend to further deal with the influx of cheaters. The sixth season starts on January 22.
