Gerard Butler sued the authors of the picture “Olympus Has Fallen” due to non-payment of part of the fee.
The actor believes that the creator studios did not pay him about $ 10 million, given the total profit of the action movie, which grossed $ 170 million worldwide. The actor also added that they simply tried to hide part of the fee due to him from him.
At the same time, The Fall of Olympus by Antoine Fuqua was published back in 2013, after which it received two sequels – in 2016 (The Fall of London) and 2019 (The Fall of an Angel), respectively.
In the original film, Butler played the role of a discredited security guard for the President of the United States, who found himself inside the White House during a terrorist attack. And he had to save the head of state.
