Studio miHoYo announced Genshin impact version 2.0 – with it, new locations will be added to the game, the story will continue, the capabilities of the PlayStation 5 will be expanded and full crossplay will be introduced.
For starters, players will be able to go to Inazuma – the third region of the game with constantly changing weather, division into six islands with its own history (only half of the patch will be released), a unique structure of locations and its own set of opponents.
In addition, on the way to the new region, players will meet three new partners – Ayaka, Youimiya, and Sayu. Also, the developers promise non-trivial puzzles, interesting tasks and much more.
Another important innovation in version 2.0 will be the appearance of full crossplay – now you can transfer progress between all platforms – PS5, PS4, iOS, Android and PC.
But the nice things for Sony console owners don’t end there. With the release of the patch, PlayStation will bring new trophies and more options for DualSense. Also, the developers have improved the graphics.
Genshin Impact version 2.0 is out on July 21st.
