Early next year online edition Gayming magazine will hold an event Gayming awardsmarketed as the first in-game awards ceremony with a primary focus on LGBT themes.
Using the games as an example, the organizers intend to highlight the industry’s efforts to protect the LGBT world. In addition, the event is intended to act as a support for talent from these communities.
Voting will take place during November and December this year, and the winners will be selected by a jury of 20 representatives of LGBT communities. Awards in nominations “best LGBTQ streamer” and “from readers of Gayming Magazine” will be awarded as part of a user vote on the site.

The jury will choose the winners in the following nominations:
- Game of the Year;
- Award for faithful display;
- Best LGBTQ Character;
- Best LGBTQ Narrative;
- Best LGBTQ Indie Game;
- Best LGBTQ Streamer;
- Industry Diversity Award;
- Special Service Award;
- Gayming Magazine Reader Award.
The awards ceremony will be sponsored by UKIE, Games London and Out Making Games.
