The other day, February 18, in early access Steam satirical thriller came out Rustler, which was positioned as “medieval Gta“. And the premiere, on the one hand, turned out to be successful: the budget of the game, which is about 440 thousand dollars, paid off by 20% in three days.
According to the Games Operators studio, 6.5 thousand copies of the game were sold on the first day. Another 119,000 players have added Rustler to their wishlist. According to SteamDB the maximum “attendance” of the game was 225 people.
Despite the fact that the start was relatively successful, the assessments of the players are only 66% positive. Most buyers praise the humor of the creators of the game. But the technical side, management and gameplay is a source of criticism.
Since the premiere of Rustler, Games Operators’ shares have dropped 31%. If earlier they gave about 8.5 dollars per share, now they have reached their historical minimum and are estimated at 5.6 dollars.
The developers have already announced a major patch that should deal with checkpoints, reduce the complexity of the initial quests and make missions passable.
