Gamers have spent more than $ 1.4 billion on ID @ Xbox games. This was told by the head of the European department of the program Agostino Simonetta as part of his speech at the conference Investment Summit Online.
Recall that Microsoft announced ID @ Xbox back in August 2013. The program allows independent developers to independently publish their games on Xbox One and Windows. In July 2018, the spending of gamers on ID @ Xbox games reached a billion dollars.
Simonetta noted that at the moment the program covers 3400 studios from 64 countries. In addition, Microsoft is aware of approximately 1800 ID @ Xbox games that are currently at some stage of development.
Since the launch of the program, more than 1300 games have been released with its help.
