Polish studio The farm 51 announced a conclusion with the company MY.GAMES partnerships to develop and publish a military online shooter World war 3. Collaboration will provide the authors with all the necessary resources to increase the scale of the game, while maintaining the original vision and creative control over the project. This is stated in the official message received by our editorial office.
The action of World War 3 takes place during a modern international conflict, where players participate in large-scale tactical battles with an emphasis on team interaction. Game maps are based on real geographic locations.
Since 2018, the game has been in early access at the site Steam, but now they’ll remove it from there, because the publisher wants to give developers the opportunity to fully concentrate on preparing the final version. At the same time, players who have already bought World War 3 will retain access to the game and will receive veteran status, as well as a set of valuable items after a full premiere.
“World War 3 is a game with great potential. We believe that together with The Farm 51, we will be able to make one of the most visible large-scale military online shooters on the market, ”said Alexei Izotov, director of the global publication MY.GAMES.
In 2023, World War 3 plans to add an Asian theater of operations, improve existing maps, update the interface, revise weapon progression and customization systems, and add a detailed training mode for beginners. In addition, The Farm 51 is working on new modes (including the one proposed by the fan community), additional maps, weapons, cosmetic items, voice acting for characters and support for additional languages.
