Russian studio Mundfish shared new details about her game Atomic heart… And the information raises certain questions.
In particular, the developers call their game “an immersive sim with a hurricane mix of hardcore melee fighting and shooter.” However, they add that the passage in the “shoot and run” style is not profitable, because the network reacts to a loud shot “Team“, which raises the level of anxiety at the location, which the robots run up to. At the same time, you cannot go through the entire stealth game, because Mundfish wants the combat system to be able to bring a lot of fun.
The strangest thing is that Atomic Heart will have two difficulty levels. Mode “Story passage“will allow you to enjoy the game without hardcore, and it can be compared with Bioshock… But the press release writer for some reason forgot that in the game Ken Levin there were several levels of difficulty.
Most of the questions are for the second level of difficulty, which is called “Fierce“. The fact is that the developers are positioning it” qfor veterans of Souls-like games and fans of serious challenges“.
Important attention will be paid to progression. The game will have about 10 types of weapons that can be developed through the system of “cassette players” and get access to ultimate abilities. The character leveling itself will be realized not through leveling up, but through skill leveling due to “interesting mechanics”.
Particular attention is focused on crafting. The developers will allow you to create new items as you progress, but there is a “tactical approach”: if you hit the robots hard, they will break, which will affect the reduction of useful resources.
