FromSoftware’s long-awaited RPG Elden Ring from the creators of Dark Souls and Bloodborne is unlikely to be released in 2023

Japanese company Kadokawa Corporationowning a studio FromSoftware, warned investors that in the coming fiscal year it is expected to see a noticeable reduction in its revenue and profits from sales of video game products. It actually follows from this that the anticipated Elden ring from Hidetaki Miyazaki will not be released until at least April 2023, when the next fiscal year starts

If it was planned to be released in the period from April 2023 to the end of March 2023, then on the contrary, growth in the performance of the corporation’s game branch would be expected, since in the past financial year it did not release any greatest hits on PC and consoles.

Corporate executives also stressed that further delays in game development are possible amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Elden Ring’s gameplay has not yet been officially shown. A few days earlier, another video appeared on the network, presumably having a direct relationship to the role-playing one in development. The source of the leak was the publication on the image board 4chan

The excerpt looks like this:

It is noteworthy that the watermarks in the leaked video correspond to the previous leak on Elden ring, last March… It is likely that the new footage is also recorded from the same trailer, created for internal use by the publisher.

Recall that the official announcement Elden ring took place back in 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Now the project does not even have an approximate release date.
