From the Russian version of the remaster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for PC and Xbox One, the mission “Not a word in Russian” was cut out

On April 30, a remaster was released in Russia Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for PC and Xbox one. Some users have already managed to familiarize themselves with the game and noticed that the scandalously known mission “Not a word in Russian” is missing in it.

The level depicts the shooting of civilians by armed terrorists in a fictional Moscow airport, and the player-controlled character – an undercover agent – is among the terrorists.

In the original draft of 2009, the player could complete the mission without killing anyone, or even miss it.

After the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 level was subjected to severe criticism. Console versions for the PS3 and Xbox 360 were banned for sale in the Russian Federation, and the computer version was censored. Then the level was cut out from the Russian edition of the game, although it had already been translated into Russian.

Remaster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released on March 31 on the PS4 and was a monthly exclusive to this platform. In the Russian PS Store, the project never appeared.
