According to the authors, this year it was not difficult to find them – it was full of wonderful projects from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, as well as impressive games from independent developers and publishers of the multi-platform. Despite having a great year, Screen Rant believes that there was room for disappointment. Although there were not so many of them, it is impossible to say that, for example, Anthem met the expectations of fans.
On the other hand, there were surprises, a striking example of which is Death strandingabout which little was known before the release. Fire Emblem: Three Houses became another game that exceeded all expectations and pretty suddenly appeared on the radar as one of the best games of 2019.
