From 2023, CD Projekt will start making several games at once – the main thing about the studio’s new strategy

CD Projekt presented a new development strategy for the company for the next few years. There, for example, they confirmed plans from next year to start parallel production of several large-budget projects at once.

According to a spokesperson for the firm, they want to support brands at the same time. Cyberpunk 2077 and “Witcher”By releasing high quality designs in these universes. At the same time, marketing campaigns will be launched much closer to the release.

Narrative RPGs will still be a priority for CD Projekt, but the company sees great potential for universes outside the genre – The Witcher and Cyberpunk want to expand into other areas and formats.

The plans for 2023 include patches, free DLC and nextgen release for Cybeprunk 2077. The Witcher has support for two mobile games and the release of Wild Hunt on PS5 and Xbox Series – it will take place only in the second half of the year.

The most important part of the growth of brands is considered online – they plan to implement multiplayer in one form or another in almost all future projects.
