In the car racing class Formula E, which use electric cars with open wheels, the cancellation of tournaments and championships began in early March. However, riders will be able to compete with each other in the championship. ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge.
For nine weeks the championship teams and pilots ABB FIA Formula E will take part in a virtual tournament on the simulator rFactor 2. All competing company Asus select all the necessary equipment, including simulators Playseat with rudders and pedals Fanatec.
Pilots will compete in elimination: after each lap, the last rider will leave the race. Points will be awarded to them according to the standard Formula E scheme. The first races will begin on April 18, and the champion will be determined on June 13.
At the same time there will be competitions for e-sportsmen. During the qualification stages will determine the 18 fastest riders. And all funds received during the championship will go UNICEF to charity.
