For Wi-Fi will expand the range – review

The United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has opened the 6 GHz frequency band for unlicensed use. This means that it can be used in Wi-Fi routers and access points by analogy with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

As noted, this is the largest range update since 1989, when the first version of the wireless connection appeared.

The launch of a new range for business is expected before the end of the year. This will test the new product, because then the first devices with support for the new range will appear. However, a full launch is expected only in 2023, after the launch of the certification program for devices that support Wi-Fi 6E.

It is important to note that the new range should dramatically increase the speed of data exchange, although so far this is relevant only for the United States. In other countries, the novelty will appear later.
