The authors “Batwoman” channel The CW found a new actress for the role Kate Kane, which she performed in the first season Ruby Rose (“Orange Is the New Black”).
After Rose left the project, another performer was hired to play Batwoman herself, Javisia Leslie – in other words, another character tried on the heroine’s mask. But at the same time, Kane herself, who was the first Batwoman, was not removed from the plot.
As it turns out, she suffered grisly injuries after surviving a plane crash at the start of season two. Apparently, she will undergo facial plastic surgery or something similar, since now the “modified” version of Kate will be played Wallis Day (“Krypton”).
At the same time, the costume will not be returned to her, it will remain with Leslie’s character – instead, with the new actress, the authors will try to close unresolved plot issues in Kate’s line.
