Final Fantasy XV Creators From Square Enix Make An Important Clarification On Project Athia RPG On PlayStation 5

As part of the June presentation of the next generation console Playstation 5 unexpected announcement thundered – Japanese publishing house Square enix introduced the world to a completely new game codenamed Project Athia… Unfortunately, there were very few further details about the curious development – we learned that the project promises to boast impressive visuals, and met the scriptwriting team

Now, thanks to the latest issue of the magazine Weekly Toyo Keizai Plus, wherein Yosuke Matsuda, president of the publishing house Square enix, gave a short description Project Athia, it became known that open world game awaits us

“Project Athia, being created for the PlayStation 5, is an open-world project where the user can freely navigate the available locations,” Matsuda briefly described the project for the new console generation.

Another curious moment from the interview with Yosuke Matsuda became his remark in the direction of future plans Square enix on the coverage of gaming markets. As it turned out, the company plans to focus on all available areas at once, including mobile devices, however, the creation of large-budget games for traditional home systems will always occupy one of the leading roles for the publisher

“We plan to create games for the strengths of a wide variety of platforms, including mobile devices and cloud services, but we will never stop working with powerful systems like PS5. Because they are equipped with the best technological solutions,” explained Matsuda.

Now Project Athia is at a fairly early stage of creation, accordingly, further news about the game will probably have to wait some more time.
