According to the portal Redanian Intelligence, filming the second season “The Witcher” will not end soon, affecting the first months of 2023.
The production process will be restarted on August 17, and the team managed to work on the sequel for about five weeks before the coronavirus shutdown. New plans may still change, of course, but for now, the authors of the series will be engaged in filming it for a total of about eight months.
Initially, this period was supposed to be only five and a half months, but here, again, the coronavirus prevented the plans.
There is no exact release date for the season yet, but the authors of the portal suggest that, taking into account new and old information, its premiere will take place in August 2023.
