Fans of the Full Throttle quest drew a 3D trailer for the game – review

On the site of a London animation studio Red knuckles an unusual video appeared. This is an adventure game trailer Full throttlestudio Lucasart released in 1995. But it is made in 3D and looks quite modern.

As the studio explained, co-founders and creative directors of the studio, Rick Thiele and Mario Ucci, worked on the creative processing of the old trailer for the game, as enthusiasts in their free time. To do this, they used the most advanced animation technology.

A successful character is simple, understandable, charismatic, and you immediately see its essence. The most difficult thing is to take a hero who is already endowed with a beautiful and original appearance, and update him without losing a bit of his soul, and even adding something of his own. I think we managed to accomplish this feat.

The technology is secondary to the incredible talent of the artists who helped us complete this project during the pause between projects.

In 2017, Double Fine Studio released an updated version. Full throttle remastered. It completely updated the appearance of the game, but it remained two-dimensional. And only now, thanks to Red Knuckles studio, you can see how the game would have looked if it had undergone a global alteration.
