Fan reveals impressive Dino Crisis remake concept

In this generation Capcom has re-released many of its classics, including remastered Onimusha and Okami, and remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, but the company continues to bypass Dino crisisdespite numerous requests from fans to revive the series.

Given the advances in technology, the Dino Crisis remake has a lot of potential, but Capcom still hasn’t officially said if it plans to do anything with the series in the future.

Amid the lack of news, one fan created an impressive concept of what an updated version of Dino Crisis could look like for modern platforms.… On my page in ArtStation Swedish artist Alexander Forssberg published a series of artwork showcasing a defunct remake of the original 1999 game. However, he immediately indicated that this is his personal project, not related to Capcom, so fans will have to keep waiting.

The Dino Crisis series debuted on PS1 and the first part was immediately followed by a sequel. The gameplay is similar to Resident Evil from the same PS1, sharing with it many elements of the user interface and gameplay, but instead of zombies and mutated monsters, the main characters here have to fight dinosaurs. The last game in the franchise, Dino Crisis 3, was released in 2003 as an Xbox exclusive and ended in great commercial and critical failure. She is often considered one of the worst in the series.
