Fallout 76 masters urbanism: Bethesda talks about the “city of the future” from Wastelanders

Publishing house Bethesda revealed information about a new location that will appear in a multiplayer game Fallout 76 as part of the supplement Wastelanders. New screenshots were also presented.

We are talking about Vatoga – the city of the future, in which people got rid of traffic jams, accidents and improperly parked cars. This was achieved due to the huge multi-level parking, which is underground.

“Leaving or picking up a car here is simple: just use one of the many terminals and provide your ID, and the system will do everything for you. You can also order maintenance or a car wash or even buy a new car without the participation of the seller! Of course, in a post-apocalyptic Appalachia, all these services are no longer provided, but there is nothing wrong with recalling the past, “the description says.

Bethesda previously decided to postpone the release date of the massive Wastelanders add-on for critics and Fallout 76 players. According to the original plan, the release was due in the fall of 2019. Now, the update was postponed to the first quarter of 2023.

DLC will add new quests, items, as well as non-player characters, which are divided into fractions “Settlers” and “Raiders”. It was for the lack of NPC that many scolded the vanilla version of Fallout 76.

In addition, plans to release the game in Steam Initially, the company promised a release in 2019, but now it will take place only in 2023.
