Developers from the studio 4A Games presented a trailer for the release Metro: Exodus on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Owners of the game on PS4 or Xbox One will receive the update for free. On PC, an improved version was released in May.
At the same time, these authors announced that it was not possible to transfer saves from PS4 to PS5. On the Xbox Series, in turn, you can start the game from the last chapter open with all the items received by that time.
However, automatic and intermediate saves will not be carried over, so the authors recommend completing the current chapter before updating the game.
At the same time, the console versions added the ability to open a specific chapter if players do not want to go through the whole game again. At the beginning of the chosen chapter, they will receive a standard set of equipment and resources.
Recall that the main feature of the improved version is the full use of ray tracing. Also, players will receive support for DLSS 2.0, the ability to change the FOV, increased frame rates and support for the features of the DualSense controller.
