Digital store Epic Games Store began to carry out a partial refund to users who bought the game at full cost shortly before the discount on it.
Officially, Epic Games has not yet announced the innovation, however some gamers have already begun to receive notifications about automatic refunds of the difference in funds for a game if, after placing an order, a discount offer soon began to apply.
Epic Games Store’s first refund policy change Studio Mayday Joshua Boggs, who posted on his Twitter a screenshot of a letter from the store, which says that: “The price of the game (s) you purchased has recently been reduced, so we are partially compensating the difference.”

At the beginning of this year, the Epic Games Store already made changes to the refund policy, as a result of which a full refund is now possible an unlimited number of times if a request was received within 14 days after purchasing the product, and the user spent no more than two hours in the game. Prior to this, the refund was limited to two times a year.
