Company Epic games presented a list of games that are developed on the graphics engine Unreal engine 4 and will be released in 2023 or later. In addition to projects such as King’s bounty ii, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Disintegration and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, in the publication there was a place for unexpected developments.
It’s about a shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 from Ukrainian studio Gsc game world. The game was presented on the list as an art, not a video. The post was quickly edited, after which the shooter disappeared from it. However, a cached version of the page was preserved, thanks to which it is known that the note contained a hyperlink to the official website of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
It is also interesting that in 2018, the director of publishing strategy Epic Games Store Sergey Galenkin jokingly hinted that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 (a later post on social networks has also been removed).
It seems S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is going to be on Unreal Engine, it was listed as an upcoming game on the official UE blog but has been removed.
