Epic: A massive fan-made short film based on Cyberpunk 2077 released

Introduced in May fan short film Phoenix Program based on the game Cyberpunk 2077 became available for viewing to everyone.

The authors of the short film admit that they originally planned to shoot a project containing one scene in one day, but in the course of production, its scale increased, therefore, as a result, the shooting took as long as 17 days, and then the COVID-19 pandemic made its adjustments.

The creators note that during the quarantine in Germany, they managed to rethink the scale of the short film and attract new people and sponsors to its creation. Ultimately, in recent months, the project’s creative team has expanded to 180 people from around the world.

The Phoenix Program was directed by a professional stuntman Wee Dan Tran, and the role of Johnny Silverhand was played by the famous German cosplayer Ben Shamma, also known by his pseudonym Maul cosplay

Cyberpunk 2077 is out the day after tomorrow for Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC… The game will be available for backward compatibility on next generation consoles.
