In all cases, DDR4-3600 memory modules with timings of 18-22-22-42 were used. FCLK frequency will be 1800 MHz. For the “red” processors used the motherboard MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE, the model for the “blue” is not specified.
At the same time, all the chips were cooled by a 360-mm maintenance-free SJO manufactured by EK Water Blocks. The results showed that the i9-10900K consumes 338 watts. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and Ryzen 9 3950X took 263 and 306 watts, respectively.
As for performance, in games it depended on optimizing a particular project for multi-core or for high frequency. In the latter case, the Core i9-10900K was pulled forward, which can accelerate to 4.9 GHz for all cores or to 5.3 GHz one at a time.
It remains to wait for other tests and comparisons to draw conclusions.
