In February, it became known that the company Electronic arts signed an agreement with a Polish studio of visual effects and computer graphics Platige image. Under the contract, the studio was supposed to create a series of cinematic videos for EA games in the amount of approximately 800 thousand dollars.
Two months later, the company broke the agreement unilaterally. EA did not name the reasons for this decision, however, Platige Image management believes that the cause is coronavirus.
The work relied heavily on the use of motion capture, and for this it was necessary to shoot on-site in Los Angeles. Due to the current epidemiological situation, this has become impossible, which has led to the inability to continue work on animation. So they decided to suspend the project.
