EA prepares an offensive: Battlefield publisher plans to actively support Nintendo Switch

She recently returned to Steam and is now preparing to launch nextgen, having already submitted several projects that will be released on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, but along with this, the publisher is also gradually increasing support Nintendo switch.

During last night’s presentation EA Play Live 2023 the company has confirmed that over the next 12 months it will publish seven more of its games on Switch. Three of them are already known: it came out today Burnout Paradise: Remastered, Apex legendswhich will debut on the hybrid console in the fall, and FIFA 21: Legacy Editionalso expected in the fourth quarter.

Regarding the remaining four games, nothing is yet known. It can be both re-releases of old games, such as a remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy, which are rumored, and new releases, for example, shown today on EA Play Live indie Lost in random and It takes two.

In any case, the news shows that EA is not going to stop supporting Switch even with the advent of a new console generation.
