Developers from Valve announced the start of a new event “Hostility” in Dota 2…
As part of the event, meteorites will fall on the battlefield, which must be captured in order to receive coals. They, in turn, give a charge that increases movement speed and damage from attacks and spells, and with a certain amount, players will hit nearby enemies.
In addition, every time a tower collapses, its power is transferred to allied buildings, which strengthens them and calls for the help of creeps distraught from the enmity.
Players will also enjoy weekly quests, new helper features, and a Battle Pass featuring Immortal Treasures, the Dragon Knight Personality, the Acolyte of the Lost Arts Personality for Invoker, the Specter Arcana Pack, and more.
You can find out all the details of Hostility and buy a Battle Pass here.
Along with the start of the new event, Dota 2 received support for FidelityFX Super Resolution from AMD for graphics cards compatible with DirectX 11 or Vulkan. This technology renders the game in low resolution and increases the image quality through upscaling, which improves performance.
