The project is a unique retro style redesign of the diskless PS5… For this, the console was first disassembled to the “core” and reconstructed to take up less space. Then the author from scratch started making a completely new case for it.
It is based on carbon fiber plates and features black American walnut front, rear and side panels. As a result, after all the alterations, not a trace remained of the previous design. Instead of a futuristic device, the console looks more like an old home turntable, but at the same time it is slightly smaller in size, retaining all the connectors, air holes and functionality.… Moreover, the custom design has been tested for performance and in terms of noise level was at the level of the regular version of the PlayStation 5.
