In May, we reported that a very high-rated role-playing game Disco elysium from an estonian studio ZA / UM translated French, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Korean and Russian. And today an important new has come update, concerning changes in the Russian localization team.
Henceforth translation Disco elysium the company is in Russian Testronic (she is also engaged in German and French localization). The authors of the game note that the fan team provided the translation with a powerful start, and now the larger team will continue to work.
Disco elysium owes a lot to Soviet culture and history, so the studio will try to ensure maximum translation quality, efficiency and attention to the Russian language.
By the way, work on localization with the company Testronic some members of the fan team will continue, including Alexandra “AlfinaGolubeva, better known to many for the translation into Russian of the book of the former editor of the portal Kotaku Jason Schreyer Blood, Sweat, and Pixels.
here is a new hack: upon reflection, ZA / UM decided to transfer the localization of Disco Elysium to the agency. (for more details see the link.)
I was kindly invited to continue working as one of the translators (not an editor!). Of course, I will be glad to contribute in this format. here! https://t.co/YUZEINcp8p
