DIRT 5 will receive cross-platform matchmaking today

Developers from the studio Codemasters announcedthat today, May 11, DIRT 5 will receive an update that will add cross-platform matchmaking between PlayStation, Xbox and PC to the game (Steam, Microsoft Store).

This update also features Red Bull-themed content, including eight official liveries for various vehicles and an arc for the Playgrounds mode. In Playgrounds mode, for all locations, it will be possible to turn on the storm or make the track wet.

In Time Trial and Playgrounds (Gate Crasher) modes, players will be able to trigger a ghost with a selected time (from the global leaderboard, from the friend leaderboard, their own best time, etc.).

Finally, the update will fix some bugs in the game.
