Dawnbreaker is a new Dota 2 character that appeared with patch 7.29. The developers describe her as a melee carry, but analysts and fans have not yet fully figured out how best to use Dawnbreaker in matches. Now the new heroine has one of the lowest win rates among all the characters in the game – about 38%.

Dota 2 fans explain this by the fact that while players are just getting to know Dawnbreaker and choose her as the first pick, without even reading the description of the abilities. Many also noted that a low winrate for a new hero is much better than too high, as has often happened with new character releases in the past.
Previously, there was a theory among Dota 2 fans that one of the characters in the anime series “DOTA: Dragon’s Blood” would become the new hero.
