Following the debut trailer, the company Netflix published the first poster and new footage for the upcoming fifth season of the hit series “Lucifer“, which will premiere on August 21st. The show’s final season, split in two, will feature Dennis Haysbert as God.
The series “Lucifer” is an adaptation of the comic book series of the same name by the publishing house Vertigo for authorship Neil Gaiman and Sam Keith… In the center of his plot is a fallen angel (Tom Ellis), who, out of boredom, left his throne and went to Los Angeles, where he opened his own nightclub. In the city of angels, under certain circumstances, he meets police detective Chloe Decker (Lauren Herman), which begins to contribute to the fight against crime.
It is noteworthy that at one time the series was canceled by Fox after the 3rd season, but the streaming service Netflix brought it back from the underworld last June, having bought the rights.
The previous four seasons are currently streaming on Netflix.
