“In the original game, the Witch’s teleport works with a mouse click anywhere. Wherever you click, you teleport there. But when you play with a gamepad, you don’t have a cursor, so the Witch teleport takes place at the default distance – some movements will be implemented this way. And, for example, the Blood Golem will always spawn from the Necromancer where you need it. There are a number of movements where we will allow holding the button to activate the cursor. “
In another interview, Blizzard confirmed that it plans to host not one, but two technical alphas.… First, the developers will test the remake in single player mode, and then there will be a stress test focused on the multiplayer game. Both tests will take place before the release of Diablo II: Resurrected, scheduled for 2023, but there is no exact timeline yet.
