Company Activision Blizzard working on franchise animation projects Diablo and Overwatch. This is stated in the co-chair’s LinkedIn profile. Activision Blizzard Studios Nick Van Dykereports portal Gamespot.
A spokesman for the publisher noted that Diablo will receive an “anime-style” television adaptation of the type Castlevania. The show is currently in pre-production. The debut will take place on a video platform Netflix.
As for Overwatch, Dyke indicates that, in collaboration with his creative partners, “developed and sold the franchise animated series”. Who exactly the license went and when the premiere will take place is not specified.
Dyke previously noted producing project “Skylander Academy“that came out on Netflix.
