In the trailer, we see Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) 10 years after the events of the eighth season, he lives a peaceful life in the small snow-covered town of Iron Lake, where everyone knows each other. Hiding under the fictitious name of Jim Lindsay, he works in an arms shop, and spends his free time with a police girl and friends, but at some point his “Dark Companion” breaks out.
The main antagonist of the upcoming season will be the character of Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, Detroit: Become Human), and Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow will somehow return to their roles as Debra Morgan and Trinity. The latter was confirmed by the showrunner of the project Clyde Phillips, who is responsible for the first four seasons of “Dexter”. The appearance of some of the actors from the original series would be “brain-blowing,” he said.
