Organizers DevGAMM summed up the results of the first conference this year – it attracted a record 3800 participants. In total, 109 speakers spoke at the event and presented 201 games.
Among the speakers was a narrative designer Rihanna Pratchett, business team Steam, designer Remedy Stuart McDonald, Lead Game Designer Sumo digital Jamie Smith and many others.
Representatives of Wargaming, Kefir, Pixonic, MY.GAMES, tinyBuild and Google, and in the zone Industry Expo additional activities took place, such as live communication with participants, master classes and even project pitches.
Games for which platforms the conference participants are working on
The networking approach was non-trivial. For example, thanks to the support of Skillbox, “Casual networking“- these are 5-minute calls between random participants, and thanks to Speed Game Dating developers and publishers got to know each other and, if desired, could then continue negotiations.
Award ceremony
The event was broadcast on Twitch and YouTube, including “review addiction” supported by Ten Square Games… During the broadcast, more than 50 games were shown, and the total number of views exceeded 150 thousand.
