A few days after the publication of first impressions of “Birds of prey”, the embargo has fallen and full reviews.
The detailed opinions are not as enthusiastic as the debut reviews had, but the attitude towards the film is, for the most part, restrained and positive. On the Metacritic currently the tape has 63 points out of 100 (23 reviews) and 92% of “freshness” on Rotten tomato (52 reviews).
As for the first time, some critics were pleased with the tone and style of the film with its ironically insane spark and almost animated brutality. The painting perfectly reveals its central heroine, that is, Harley Quinn, which at the same time became the main decoration of the ribbon.
But, however, not all agree with these statements. Among the minuses are also called problems with the script, which is often carried away by exposure, as well as the film’s obvious attempt to repeat the Deadpool formula.
One of the most negative reviews was on the portal. The irish time, where the main problem from the point of view of the author was an excessive amount of voiceover of the main character.
It will be possible to confirm or refute the assessments of critics tomorrow, February 6, when the picture is released.
