In conversation with GamesIndustry.biz head of the publishing department Kojima Productions Jay Boer said that by the end of March this year, sales Death stranding worldwide have surpassed 5 million copies on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Boer noted that the size of the Kojima Productions team has remained largely unchanged since the game was released, but the way the studio operates has changed significantly as the pandemic brought many unforeseen problems.
Kojima Productions previously announced Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PS5. Players will find more weapons, equipment and vehicles, new modes, missions and locations, extended storylines, new online features and leaderboards, as well as graphics and performance improvements.
Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be released on September 24th.
