Deacon voice actor from the Portuguese version of Days Gone dies

Actor Filipe Duartevoiced by Deacon St. John in the Portuguese version of the zombie action movie Days gone, passed away at the age of 46. The cause of death was a heart attack.

The developers of the game expressed their condolences to the relatives and friends of the actor Bend studioincluding leading open-world designer Eric Jensen and Portuguese branch Playstation.

“It is incredibly sad to hear about the death of Philip Duarte. He was the voice of the Deacon for us and many players in Portugal. Sincerely condolences to his family in this difficult time,” wrote the developer.

In addition to voicing the protagonist Days Gone, Filipe Duarte was known for his work in the theater, television and film.

This is not the first human loss for the gaming community this month.
