David Hayter is ready to return to the role of Snake from Metal Gear Solid at any time

Series Metal gear solid essentially completed and is currently a “sleeping” franchise. Brand Owner, Japanese Company Konami, is in no hurry to announce the continuation and which year is silent.

Actor David haterwho voiced the main protagonist in Metal Gear Solid recently visited the show Up at noon, where he told the American edition IGN about his attitude to the role of Snake. Hayter admitted that if the publisher decided to develop a remake, the actor would “enthusiastically” respond to the invitation to return to the voice acting of the cult character.

“I love Snake,” he says. “I love voicing this character. And, as many probably know, I will do it again without hesitation. So if they wanted to bring me back to create a remake of these games, I would certainly agree. ”

The last time Hayter voiced Snake in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, released in 2010. The actor did not return to this role in Metal Gear Solid 5, but he appeared in 2017 Super Bomberman R and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 2018, where Snake acted as a guest character.

Currently, the actor is involved in the development of games VR-games Phantom: Covert Ops. In the latter, Hayter voiced General Zhurov, who was trying to restore the USSR and subjugate the whole world.
