The plot tells the story of a country divided into two parts by a strange and very dangerous Shady Canyon, where complete darkness reigns and some monsters live. When the two main characters, Alina and Mal, go through the gap, they realize that the girl has a rare ability to summon light.
Perhaps, it will be with her help that it will be possible to destroy the very Canyon, but this will be hindered by various enemies who want to use the heroine’s abilities for their own purposes.
The scriptwriter of the project was Eric Heisserer (“Arrival”), and the main roles are played by Jesse Mei Li (“All About Eve”), Archie Reno (“Hannah”) and Ben Barnes (“Chastener”).
The first season of eight episodes will premiere on April 23.
