Developers from the team Round 8 Studio (Bless Unleashed) in collaboration with the publishing house NeoWiz announced Lies of P is a Souls-style RPG inspired by the story of Pinocchio. The unusual project does not have a release date yet, but it is being created for both PC and consoles, and only Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5.
The authors describe the gameplay of Lies of P as a mixture of soul-like elements with a unique system of lies, in which everything that the main character of the game does and says will dynamically influence the passage.
Along with the announcement, a selection of screenshots was released and a debut trailer was published, serving as a prologue to the main plot. It shows a certain old man who, apparently, is a kind of Geppetto who “created” the main character. He will be teased at the end of the video.
The Lies of P development team currently numbers more than 60 people, but the team will continue to expand with the intention of creating a game that can compete on equal terms with the best representatives of the genre.
As development progresses, the authors are going to share additional information.
