Dance for your brain: The authors of The Witcher showed a detective mode in Cyberpunk 2077 and many beautiful screenshots

In addition to the fresh trailer and the announcement of the anime series for the Netflix streaming service, CD Projekt RED also demonstrated during the presentation Cyberpunk 2077 six minutes of new gameplay.

In the presented segment, the authors showed mechanics called Braindance, which allows the main character to experience other people’s memories with the transfer of all the feelings of the wearer and analyze them from the outside – in fact, a kind of pumped-up detective mode from Batman: Arkham Origins. In this particular case, we were shown how Vee uses this technology to plunge into the memory of a robber killed during a raid on a grocery store and find out who shot him. CD Projekt Red states that Braindance will be an important narrative tool for exploring the world and various factions.

New screenshots, as well as a poster with a male version of Vee and Johnny Silverhand:

Cyberpunk 2077 release will take place November 19th. On the new generation consoles of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, the game will be available with some improvements from the day they are launched and will be fully updated for non-x-gen in 2023.

By the end of this year, the project is also planned to be released on the Google Stadia cloud platform.
