Cyberpunk 2077 although it did not live up to expectations by 100%, thanks to her we can now observe a new wave of popularity of cyberpunk games.
Another novelty in this genre was presented by the team Paradark Studioby announcing ExeKiller – a hybrid of classic 80s cyberpunk and Western in the Wild West.
ExeKiller is a first-person action adventure set in New York in 1998… According to the plot, 20 years earlier, the Great Fire occurred, as a result of which most of the planet turned into a scorched desert, which provoked a mass extinction. Only 30 percent of humanity managed to survive, corporations took power and the world began to plunge into chaos and anarchy.
The protagonist of the whole story is a bounty hunter, whose main goal is to collect the components of the S.O.U.L.S biochip, produced by one of the largest corporations ruling Novaya Zemlya. Chips accumulate information about their owners and manage them, but without them a person simply cannot exist.
In the process of passing, the player will have to make decisions that affect the development of the plot, travel through various post-apocalyptic landscapes, hunt bandits, and also use various weapons, gadgets and abilities. The change of day and dynamic weather are declared, for example, radioactive solar storms.
