date of release Cyberpunk 2077 transferred repeatedly, which is associated with complex development. Apparently, to speed up the process, the studios CD Projekt Red had to sacrifice content.
In an interview with the German portal Gamestar level designer Miles Toast reported that in the final version of the game the metro system (monorail) will not be available. Initially, the subway map could be seen in the trailer with E3 2018that started right off the train ride. Also, the metro was shown on various artworks.
According to the original idea, for the in-game currency, the protagonist is nicknamed In and could get to any area of Night City by sitting in a train car. However, in the release version, tourist terminals for fast movement will replace the metro, for the use of which you do not have to pay.
The trains themselves will remain, but you can no longer enter them. Instead, you can go to the entrance to the metro, after which there will be a quick movement (the moment of travel will not be shown).
This is not the only loss. In an interview IGN lead task designer Pavel Sasko He informed reporters that the system of customization and tuning of personal vehicles was also sent to the scrap, although E3 2019 same Miles Toast argued the opposite. The new concept suggests that players will have to look for other cars in Night City that have already been improved in advance (V can own a fleet of vehicles).
