Warner bros and NetherRealm announced the imminent testing of cross-platform multiplayer in Mortal kombat 11True, only between the PS4 and Xbox One.
An update has already been released for the Sony console with the corresponding functionality, but it has not yet been activated. In a special FAQ on the publisher’s website reportedthat developers on social networks will talk about the timing of the tests.
Crossplay will work in two modes:
- Standard multiplayer – the game is looking for the best match between players on the PS4 and Xbox One
- The rooms where players from different platforms will battle, that is, the PS4 against the Xbox One.
At the same time, you cannot transfer your progress to another platform yet. It is also unknown whether the initiative will be expanded to versions for the Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC. So far only on the PS4 and Xbox One.
